Not only does this improve access to low carbon energy at an affordable cost, it offers a return for renewable energy owners, thus incentivising uptake. With Verv's energy trading platform having already been implemented at a social housing community in London where they executed the UK's first P2P trade of energy on the blockchain, Peter will outline just how this decentralized platform can significantly reduce energy bills and carbon emissions, whilst empowering communities to become self-sufficient.
